About Girlguiding Moray

Girlguiding Moray is made up of over 60 Rainbow, Brownie, Guide and Senior Section Units. All of the girls and young women that make up these units meet on a weekly basis to have fun, learn new skills and make lasting friendships.

Rainbows is exciting, creative and fun for girls aged between 5 and 7.

Rainbows learn and grow by doing sports, arts and crafts and playing games. They try new things and learn about the world while working towards interest badges and awards which encourage pride in their achievements.

Brownies introduces girls aged between 7-10 to a world of new opportunities. 

Girls go along to camps, holidays and sleepovers as well as meeting every week where they learn new hobbies, get creative, explore different cultures and the great outdoors.

Guides have an exciting and varied programme to inspire girls aged between 10-14 to make a difference in their local community.

Guides gives girls the opportunity to choose what they are passionate about and encourages them to make a difference. Girls learn new skills, explore new places and have the chance to go abroad with their group.

The Rangers gives girls aged 14-18 a chance to build their skills, support their community as well as travel the world. 

Girls in the senior section have the opportunity to develop and work towards achievements such as their Duke of Edinburgh award, the Ranger Gold award as well as our Leadership Qualification.

Trefoil Guild is a branch of Girlguiding where you can meet like-minded adults to share your next adventure with. 

The Trefoil Guild gives members a chance to try something new, take on personal challenges and make lasting friendships. The Trefoil Guild also pass on their skills and wisdom to younger guiding units in the area.
